With an overwhelming response to our Particle Presents Twitter Spaces series, we are working on structuring and scheduling even more dynamic discussions for you in the coming months.
Launching in February Particle Presents— hosts guest speakers from diverse backgrounds in the art world and beyond to offer invaluable insight from the forefront of their unique practices! We sit down with industry leaders, innovators, and tastemakers to give you insider access to the art world and the newly emerging art tech sector.
As this project continues to grow and evolve, we want to give you a taste of what’s to come and hear from you! What topics are you most interested in and would like to see covered?
Here is a recap of our Spaces so far:
02/19/22— We sat down with collectors Talal Abillama and Alberto Chehebar to dig deep into the topics of accessibility of fine art ecosystems. We also discussed their collections, how they navigate art fairs and how they build relationships with museums.
03/05/22— We sat down with Henry Highley, Director of Private Sales and Principal Auctioneer at Phillips, Marina Ruiz Colomer, Director and Specialist of Contemporary Art at Sotheby's and former Christie's co-chairman Loïc Gouzer. We took you behind the scenes of some of the biggest auction houses in the world. We examined how these auction house heavyweights secure top works and clients through personal experiences.
03/19/22— We took you to behind the scenes of the commercial gallery sector with gallerists Tommaso Corvi of Corvi-Mora and James Fuentes of James Fuentes Gallery. These leading gallerists from two of the world's art epicentres—New York and London, shared everything from choosing artists, maintaining artist relationships, running a successful gallery post-COVID climate, and more.
